Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Los Angeles for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can discuss and compare statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program. Thank you and good luck to you all!

Yeah, I got the same email as well. Ehh, it’s not that special. I think if you have 3.5 GPA or above you were given that email. I think everyone who applied for nursing program received one

Gotcha. Curious if it is worth it to apply... its kind of a hassle LOL.

Anyone hear anything from CSULA yet? Don’t forget to check your online portal because they usually send the letter there a couple of days before it goes to your actual emails... Me, nothing yet ? let us know! Thanks ?

OMG!! I don't know what to think right now. It says I've been admitted to the university, but there's no letter or anything in my communications inbox.

Where does it say it? In the little box of thingy? Was nursing the only major you applied with?

In the little box that shows the triangle, square or check mark, there's a check mark there, and it's asking for official transcripts. Yes, Nursing was the only major I applied for.

Damn mine says incomplete. Keep us updated if you get an email. Hopefully mine says admitted soon. What’s were your stats if you don’t me asking ?

I'm sure it will! Keep the faith. I'd rather not say because I feel like it eventually causes tension, especially when one person gets admitted vs the other person being denied. But to give you an idea, my cumulative GPA and science GPA were perfect, but my TEAS score was just OK.

Mine also says incomplete. ? feeling discouraged. Hopefully it changes. I had excellent stats, volunteer work, and work experience in the health field if I don’t get accepted it is ridiculous. I do have the communications exercise at long beach today so hopefully I get in there if anything.

Don't feel discouraged! You guys will get the email. Based on what I read in this forum from 2019's fall semester, emails/portal updates happened all throughout this week, so there's still a lot of time.

I'll keep you guys updated for sure. Thanks, but I gotta see the acceptance letter to believe it. Knowing my luck, it may be a fluke ?. Oh, I did the communication exercise this morning. It was really fun. @ninja1968

So happy for you! Can I ask if you are local to CSULA or attended the community colleges in the area?

Thank you! I'm not local, I got to Ventura College. I'm about an hour away.
