I've been reading the thread of CSULA Fall 2014 nursing applicants & wanted to start one for this upcoming CSULA Fall of 2015. I am extremely eager to know how many points people have. I have 24pts & am going to retake my TEAS this upcoming November. Those who are interested as well, please don't be afraid to comment!
@shinfo I've been researching on which school to choose between LB & LA. I personally think LA has a better program. It's nice to think that I could be done in 2 years at LB, but I'd rather choose LA bc of their ranking. LA here I come!!!Rank 25
Yeah, I think I am going to go to CSULA too. I think both programs are really comparable but the commute to CSULA is like 5 mins for me plus I can save a lot on housing costs. Some of the clinical sites for CSULB are far too; I know that one of the sites is all the way in laguna nigel. Commuting that 3+ times a week would suck.

Hello, everyone! Sorry to bother you all. I'm hoping to apply to CSULA for Fall 2016, and I wanted to start doing my volunteer hours. I'm having a hard time finding a hospital that doesn't already have a full program. I tried contacting CSULA to get more info, but they haven't been answering phone or email for the last week. I'm guessing they were busy sending out your acceptance letters! Congrats to you all. I'm wondering if any of you have advice as to where I can apply for a good volunteer program? Also, I'm a little confused about what type of setting the hours need to be completed in. Does it have to be a hospital, or can it be some time of convalescent facility? Also, if I do get into a hospital volunteer program, are all volunteer positions acceptable, or are there certain positions that count toward the volunteer hours? Thanks in advance :)
