I've been reading the thread of CSULA Fall 2014 nursing applicants & wanted to start one for this upcoming CSULA Fall of 2015. I am extremely eager to know how many points people have. I have 24pts & am going to retake my TEAS this upcoming November. Those who are interested as well, please don't be afraid to comment!
Im not sure if I miscalculated. I took all the required classes the only thing I could think of is they didn't count my volunteer hours as 100+ since I only did 117. And it brought it down a point. But everything else is pretty straightforward. I applied to csulb as well but didn't get into that early so I'm looking into west coast university but it's so expenive
Couldn't you possibly call & ask the nursing school what your points were? I believe someone did that last year.

Whoa... Don't go that route!!! Do adn before that!!!!!! West coast has such a bad rep too... Don't doooo it! I gave up my spot at csula and now I'm at la county in an adn program and I couldn't have made a better choice.
@Dannydgk. yes I got an interview at long beach. I'm still not sure what campus is my first choice, I think overall CSULB is a better school but I need to do more research as to which nursing program is better. What's yours? and ok thanks.
I also applied to csulb but I didn't get in because I have one course in progress that brought my score down. Debating whether I should wait till spring 16 to apply again or if I should go to csula (if I get accepted. I am conflicted because I live in the San Fernando valley and the drive to long beach would be over an hour long. Idk if that would be a good idea. But yeah I've heard long beach is one of the top CSU schools and their nursing program has high nclex pass rates.
Has anyone heard anything yet? Or checked their get account? From reading last year's thread it seems as though some people had their status change to admitted before they were notified by son...getting anxious!!
I checked mine and it says incomplete, but probably becuz I have not turned in my transcripts to Csula admission.

Are you an incoming transfer student?

Whoah wait, why didn't they count your 117 as 100+? That doesn't make sense. I volunteered at 2 hospitals and had around 120 for one hospital and at another hospital I have 70 hours, which combines to around 190ish. Why didn't they do that? Do they only count one hospital?
