CSULA Fall 2015 Nursing Applicants (BSN BASIC)

I've been reading the thread of CSULA Fall 2014 nursing applicants & wanted to start one for this upcoming CSULA Fall of 2015. I am extremely eager to know how many points people have. I have 24pts & am going to retake my TEAS this upcoming November. Those who are interested as well, please don't be afraid to comment!

So when are transcripts due? the 25th of February or in July?

Are you asking for the school or the nursing program? For the school the transcripts are due July 15. Final transcripts for the nursing program are due March 26. And fyi the volunteer hours/health-related work verification form is due March 2nd.

Oh ok thanks for all your info! I wonder why they require transcripts so late? What if your grades don't qualify lol....Anyways..do you know what time on march 2nd the hours are due? I know the application they said was due at noon

It's not a form you just need a letter from the employer or volunteer coordinator verifying your hours

Sorry for the late reply! Well if you dont qualify then they would deny you :dead: lol and I have no idea when they are due. I would think that they would just have to be post marked by that day. I would make sure they get there that day or before just to be safe!

Btw, did anyone get a confirmation/acknowledgement that your application was received? I haven't heard anything since I mailed my app.:bored:

Also, did anyone here apply to CSU Long beach? If so, where would you go if you got accepted to both programs?

I also applied to CSULB. CSULB is my first choice because it's closer to my house.

I like the CSULB campus better, but in terms of the program I believe CSULA is ranked slightly higher than LB. Both programs are great though, I would be super happy to get into either one.

I also applied to CSULB. I have been waiting on CSULA but have not heard back from them. Does anyone know when the program sends out the admission status to students?

I belive it is April 1st...but from following last years thread it may be the middle of april.

@a_lope23 were you one of the people that got an interview at long beach? What campus is your first choice?

and yeah csula will notify us of acceptances in April.
