CSULA Fall 2013 Basic BSN hopeful

I wanted to start a thread for students who are applying to CSULA fall 2013 traditional BSN program. Anyone already applied and as anxious as I am to hear the news in April? And if there are any current csula nursing students stumbling on this thread, please share your experiences, tips, or warnings.

Yes, I believe I had 22 points! I was on the wait list for a couple of weeks then moved up apparently!

It's okay, things always happen for a reason. I wish all of you that got in the very very best. Work hard to later play harder ;)

Yose.. how did you find out that you didnt get in? Did you get a letter? And how many points did you have again? I still didnt get a letter or anything.

Yeah I got a letter from them I htink Last week. It said because I didn't meet the points, I called to ask and they said it was less points than I thought BOO! :/ I guess it was because of a math class or something of that sort.

It's a shame but I'm having a positive outlook on this all. You should receive something soon hopefully. Have you called?

No I have not called yet. I'm just scared.. haha. I will call if I don't get a letter by wednesday. I'm sorry you didn't get in @Yose, but keep your head up. Your time will come.

Hi everyone. I was wondering what number did you call to reach the school of nursing? I called the number ending in 4730 and it always goes to voicemail. I did leave a voicemail but I'm afraid it will take them days to call me back. If you called the same number and left a message, how long did it take the SON to call back?

ML from the nursing department just emailed me back and told me that they are sending me my letter out today!! She didnt specify if it is an acceptance/rejection letter but soon I will find out. So for those of you who are still waiting, a next wave of letters are mailed out today. :)
