CSULA Fall 2013 Basic BSN hopeful

Published

I wanted to start a thread for students who are applying to CSULA fall 2013 traditional BSN program. Anyone already applied and as anxious as I am to hear the news in April? And if there are any current csula nursing students stumbling on this thread, please share your experiences, tips, or warnings.

Thank you @Lwang. I hate that I have to wait so long but I'm still grateful that I wasn't rejected right away. --------------- usually responds to my emails the same day, and if I don't get a response the same day, I usually don't get a reply at all. I emailed her yesterday and she has not responded.

When you get a chance, can you ask these questions?

1. How many students are currently on the wait list?

2. How many points do students on the waitlist have?

3. At what point should a student on the wait list lose hope for a spot in the program?

Hi guys! First of all congrats to everyone who has been accepted for the fall 2013 program. I'm part of the fall 2012 cohort and will be finishing my first year of nursing school this wednesday. Yippie :p.

I know you guys are anxious about starting this fall since i was in your guys shoes. If you got any questions shoot me them and ill reply as fast as I can

Hey! I am will starting the ADN-BSN program at CSULA this summer13. I am taking Patho and health assessment. Have you already had those classes? If so any helpful hints?

@alyssa: We took the general physical assessment courses (N271/272) our first year. This class is your lab and patho/physical assessment portions, respectively.

It's a lot of studying and memorization. That's all i can say. You really do need to read the book, memorize, and comprehend the materials. Good luck everyone!
