I too applied for the basic BSN program for fall 2013, and I am still waiting to hear from them. I'm getting very anxious, as I've seen some threads saying that interview invitations were sent. Let me know if you hear anything!!!

Yay! Thank you for responding to this thread!

I believe interviews are only for MSN applicants and I'm almost positive Basic BSN applicants do not have interviews. The nursing department have been contacting me in the last week to notify me of additional documents I have to send in so I think they are still evaluating transcripts/applications right now.

What are your stats? I believe I have a 22/31.. Its not a great score but I hope its good enough to get it.

What did you guys get on the TEAS?

The highest points you can get without BA degree or healthcare employee is 29 pts. Although 100% on TEAS is pretty much close to impossible.

I have a 22 as well! And I heard from someone very connected with the program that anything over a score of 20 is a good sign. I have to send in my updated transcripts this week. I also heard the faculty will be looking over final touches on April 8, so by the end of that week we should know!

Also, I got an 84 on my TEAS, which comes to 94th percentile nationally.

Yay! So glad I found this thread! Question about their final ranking process. If they send out the letters during April, then what happens to the students who are still working on Stats and/or Microbiology and planning to submit those grades after the letters are out?? Does anyone know?

@ytseng4.. Statistics and microbiology are not considered when calculating prerequisites gpa so you will be ranked with the rest of the applicants.

I am a transfer student. Is anyone else a transfer student as well? Have you heard from university admissions yet?

Yeah I'm a transfer student also and no, I haven't hard from the University yet about my application. So I'm waiting on both right now!

@steph did you turn in your official transcripts to university admissions already? I think the deadline is in June.. But I'm wondering if I should turn it in now and maybe it will speed up the admissions process?

@anxiousantsy. I sent them electronically about a month ago, which had my updated grades from fall 2012, but the classes I'm in right now I don't need for the university transfer so I'm hoping I'm okay! I don't know though. You haven't heard from the university either yet??
