CSULA Fall 2013 Basic BSN hopeful

I wanted to start a thread for students who are applying to CSULA fall 2013 traditional BSN program. Anyone already applied and as anxious as I am to hear the news in April? And if there are any current csula nursing students stumbling on this thread, please share your experiences, tips, or warnings.

For those who did not hear from SON last week, did you get any news yet? Good or bad?

But they are accredited by the CCNE.. which is only for BSN programs right? The reason why I denied Rio Hondo is because they weren't accredited by the NLN and my future plans were to further my education after the ADN program.

Right CCNE is for BSN programs.

So I just called the nursing office, and all they said was that they are still waiting to hear back from the first wave of students to see how many spots are left :/

hmm thats weird cuz the deadline for the first wave was the 7th.

I know... I wonder if he meant the first wave of students on the waitlist...

@Anxiousantsy if I calculated my points correct then I got 22... I hope atleast this is enough for the waitlist..I'm already on one waitlist

@yose.o: you should try calling. They are really nice and friendly! I also had a 22 when I calculated my pts.

I got a call today saying I was accepted!!!! They told me I have to send an email by tomorrow 5pm accepting or declining my spot. I hope more people got good news today too :)
