U.S.A. California

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

Specializes in SRNA, ICU and Emergency Mursing.

I just called enrollment services.

All Transfer Undergrads registration dates begin

AUGUST 29th @ 6am

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng...

:banghead:

has anyone been able to register yet?

Hello joanpant,

Based on our unit classification will determine which date you are able to start adding lecture courses. I saw the following information:

Continuing Student Registration Start Dates:

Juniors (116 - 134.99 units): July 28, 2014 - October 9, 2014

Juniors (90 - 115.99 units): July 29, 2014 - October 9, 2014

I noticed the lab sections shows this message: Department Consent Required. We won't be allowed to self-enroll in lab sections until mid September?

Maybe we should call the nursing office? Seriously we haven't heard anything from them in awhile. Weren't we supposed to get our letters by now?

I know what date I'm allowed to register. I wasn't sure if I could enroll in the nursing classes, but I emailed you know who and she responded saying that I should be able to enroll for the lecture classes.

Even if our majors still don't say nursing?

Is everyone planning to add other courses to achieve "Full Time" student status? As of now--even with five courses-- we are considered part time, and ineligible for full cal-grant awards. I may take a course at community college to get the minimum 12 units.

The .pdf link here isn't exactly for health and human services majors. I saw that before our third quarter at csula, we must add HHS 301 (2 unit class). When is everyone planning to add HHS 301( transfer students only)

I was able to register for only 3 of the 5 courses, aka the lecture courses. The lab courses will be added the day of orientation I believe.

Are you a continuing student??!? Why were you able to register? Or did you go to the orientation and register? you never chimed in on the "Who's going to the orientation?" question....

Yes, I am a continuing student. My registration date was on July 25th 6AM. When I tried to add classes, it would not let me so my friend went to talk to you know who and wrote my name down for me so she can give me permission to add the lecture courses.

Any updates from the SON?
