Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

Published

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

Specializes in CVICU.
If he claims you as a dependent, then you are absolutely correct. He probably has filed you+daughter as dependents.

Im no accountant, but i think you would have had to file taxes separately to not have his income counted.

My girlfriend also makes too much. That's why i dont file with her. It's cheaper for her to file independently, and pay for her insurance, than it is for us BOTH to pay for insurances.

Even if he didn't claim me or we filed together because we have a child it's different. They want to see child support paperwork lol

Specializes in SRNA, ICU and Emergency Mursing.

Wow... what a mess...

This is why I chose to have dogs instead of children... (besides the fact that you can beat them in public, and nobody reports you...lol ... I'm joking..lol)

My pups are my very spoiled children....

Lol stay clear of PETA

Update:

I re-faxed, and emailed the response letter multiple times… (just to be safe)

I suppose I bothered them so much, that they finally sent me a confirmation email letting me know that they have, in fact, received my response letter (all of the faxes, and all the emails….lol).

I also made it clear that they did not include a return email address in the letter, and that they should give us some confirmation about receiving such a crucial, deadline-attached, letter.

Lol now i'm worried for not doing the same.

I think we're fine

They would call you if they didn't get a response. But, I wish they would just shoot a quick email to confirm they got it....

Yeah it totally makes sense for them to at least tell us they have it, don't know why they didn't LOL

I wonder how much our uniforms are going to cost lol

Specializes in SRNA, ICU and Emergency Mursing.

Not too concerned with the uniform... But how much is tuition/books/fees? And we gotta pay that every few months, right?

if you're low income, you might get most of your tuition/fees covered by grants.

I'm not sure if tuition/fees are paid in full :/
