It may be a bit early, but I wanted to create this forum for all of us students who want to be accepted into CSULA's SON for Fall 2019. We can discuss the TEAS, pre-reqs, deadlines, points, CSU transfer procedures, etc. Let's do this!

I too got an acceptance letter at 1 am this morning ! So excited had a difficult time falling back asleep. However, I’m surprised the letter came from the office of admissions and not directly from the school of nursing. I’m going to hold of on celebrating until I receive any information directly from the SON.

When I talked to the school of nursing yesterday they said that they would not be sending out emails, and that the acceptance emails would be coming from admissions. So it's ok to celebrate, you're in! ?

I just talked to SON and Yvette said there was not a point system this year, it was a comprehensive review of all our applications. She could not tell me why exactly I was denied.

I had 25 points according to the old point system. I don’t think they used the same system this year though.

I was also told by the nursing department that letters of acceptance would come from admissions, not the SON. ? So feel free to celebrate!!

Woke up to the acceptance email!! Super excited but still holding out hope for CSULB. Congrats to everyone else! Did you guys apply to other programs as well?

Did she say if the comprehensive review was still for the same criteria? For example, when reviewing our TEAS test score, did they just focus on the English and Reading subscores? Or all of the subscores and total score?
