CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

Hi all! Quick question to those that have completed the assessment. We were told to have our personal statement on hand to submit again, did y’all just copy & paste it in? I haven’t really opened the Kira site yet so not sure what to expect. Thanks everyone & good luck ???

Ahhh I just finished my assessment. I didn't feel like I got to explain myself as in depth as I wanted, and I definitely did not answer one of the questions fully, which I'm beating myself up about! Glad it's over tho.

I just completed the assessment. I thought it wasn't too bad. One of the questions really threw me off but I somehow managed to give an okay situational example. 4 questions are more than SFSU asked me - only 2! And my experience at CSULA was the complete opposite - I think they asked me 20 questions. Don't know which is better, LOL. Just do your best. The program knows that we won't be able to share our life stories, so really let your personality shine and let your ability to think on your feet propel you.

Yes CSULA had sooo many questions.

I'm surprised you did the assessment since you got in at CSULA!

After doing the 5 hour interview with Concordia last weekend, 4 questions was cake. These seemed to be pretty appropriate introductory questions.

Wow, 2 questions seems so brief!

I agree! I felt like my sincerity didn’t shine as I wanted to bc of the time restraints and I felt so rushed

For those of you who haven’t taken the interview yet, is your Kira site working? I cleared my cookies and practically did everything, but the site just keeps loading and won’t do anything.

Try out a different browser, some services are optimized for Chrome or whatever version of Internet Explorer. And there's always the good old "have you turned it off & on again"

I tried 2 different browsers and restarted my device multiple times..still not working ?
