CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

I don’t believe so! I tried to check mine last month and it didn’t let me log in.

Does anyone know if we are using our email that was used to submit our application and the one that the school of nursing has been using to keep in touch with us ? Has everyone already checked in?

Those should be the same email. I need to do my interview recording this week. Not excited about it being a recording service instead of Zoom or in-person. Haven't liked automated interviews for jobs, hoping for good questions!

Thank you so much! Have you checked in and done the practice questions? This will be my first time. I am pretty nervous! I believe they are due before March 27! Correct ?

Yes, it's due before March 27th. I'm so nervous, as it's my first time as well. Have you done the practice questions? Does anyone know how many questions they'll be giving us? This makes me so anxious.

Hi,

I am also really nervous about it! I know you’ll do great! The FAQ on Kira talent say that it’s 4 questions and 8 minutes. I haven’t done the practice questions. I plan on doing them tonight when I’m off of work! Wishing you all the best ???

Good luck ? You’ll do great. I’m going to do the practice questions tomorrow after work and start prepping and possibly take the formal assessment on like Tuesday or Wednesday LOL. I just can’t let my anxiety get in the way. Wishing all of us the best as well ??

I haven't done the assessment yet but I did my practice questions and they were not helpful at all LOL. The first one was what would your superpower be and why and the second one was are you a night person or early riser. I was like how is this going to help me at all haha.

Aww, that's not helpful at all!! Hopefully the actual assessment isn't difficult and we can get through it easily. This timed assessment makes me so anxious. I would have rather done a zoom interview.
