Hello! I wanted to create a thread for those interested in/planning on applying to the CSUF ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. Applications open up in a couple of days! I just wanted to know how everyone is feeling about themselves and create a place where we can talk about the process.

Can those who were accepted for conditional admission reply with the deadlines/dates in which you have to make a decision by? Thank you!

So far all it says is background check by April 10, which I just did! No mention of a deposit yet...

That was I got. No April 10....

Dear Applicant,

I am pleased to inform you that you have been placed on an alternate list for conditional admission to the BSN Nursing Program for Fall 2020 at California State University, Fullerton. Applicants were selected for conditional admission and additional students were also selected for an alternate list to replace any students that do not accept their conditional admission offer.

You are now on the alternate list and will be contacted by me via email from BSN@fullerton.edu if space becomes available. Please do not contact the School of Nursing for your place on the alternate list. The alternate list is constantly in flux so we are unable to inform you of your place on the alternate list. You could be offered admission up until the end of June, 2020.

@mushroomTinybear Hi! I believe that's the email for alternative list/waitlist applicants. Perhaps the email @Futurenurse246 received was for accepted applicants (or conditional applicants meaning they're accepted if they meet additional requirements such as passing any in progress courses and background checks).

I figured it out but @Futurenurse246 answered to @fobymomo "Can those who were accepted for conditional admission reply with the deadlines/dates in which you have to make a decision by? Thank you! So I thought maybe even I am thinking what you are thinking, maybe I got the wrong email with missing dates? Clear communication is important to eliminate confusion. But thanks!

Hi everyone! I just made an account so I could join in the conversation! I was also accepted for conditional admission! CONGRATS to everyone! I made a facebook page for all of us that got admitted. Just search for CSUF ABSN Fall 2020 Cohort and you will see it!! Woo hooo!!!
