Hello all,

I am surprised that there is not a single thread for east bay for fall 2016.

Anyway, I am just curious the statistics for admission and know some potential classmates form this site.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I wasn't expecting an email for 2 more weeks so was shocked to see an email today! I am admitted. I know they usually go pretty far into the waitlist so try not to stress

Hello! I got an email today informing me that I am in the middle third (#26-50) on the waitlist. The nursing department states that they accept students off of the waitlist up until September 20th. I have applied to about 7 schools both ADN and BSN. Thus far I have been accepted to CCC ADN program and waitlisted for CSUEB. Good luck to everyone, for those of us on the waiting list, I'm sure we will be admitted. Think positive! ツ

Congratulations @Sav768!

Just saw the email with the section of the waitlist. I'm in the top 3rd so #s 1-25! I really didn't imagine that at all, I thought I'd be more in the last 3rd! Congrats to those who got in! :D

i got accepted!

I'm in too. :)

Congratulations to all those accepted and waitlisted!! Way to go!! I've also been accepted to CSUEB's BSN program, and now have the very tough decision of choosing between either CSUEB or Sonoma State's programs. I've done a good amount of research, and created a pro/con sheet, BUT, I could really use some helpful input from fellow prospective nursing students. Anyone care to share their thoughts, please?? :D

Hello guys! I also got accepted into the program. I chose Concord campus because is close to home. I hope they tell us soon if we are accepted in the campus of our choice... ;)

I was also accepted! I asked for Concord campus. Congratulations to all who were accepted and waitlisted! :)

Hello! I am also choosing between several nursing schools including CSUEB. East bay has better hospitals around it for clinicals so that's definitely a factor in my decision.I was wondering what school you are leaning towards and why? Thanks!

As for myself, I haven't decided which of the two I'm leaning towards, but commute is definitely a factor (I live in Vallejo). I haven't heard back yet from Sac State, but I'm thinking it might be just a little too far now that I know I've been accepted to two schools that are closer to me. Thanks for pointing out that CSUEB has better hospitals, that's also a determining factor for me as well.

Congratulations for those admitted students.

I got in and I picked Hayward campus because it is closer to home.
