Application period is officially open so I wanted to start a thread and see how everyone's feeling!

Quick question, we don't send our TEAS score to nursingcas, right? We are only supposed to input our score, and send our official score to the school itself?

From what I understood from the information session, she said we send our official transcripts from the ATI website directly to cal state east bay. Only input the individual scores in NursingCAS.

Yes! I also applied to SFSU.

I'm applying this semester and hoping to get in! My stats are: 

3.74 GPA

80% TEAS SCORE

2 years of CNA and 3 years of MA experience

Bilingual

Local Area admission

Completed all science prerequisites at East Bay

I’ve only taken the TEAS once, but I plan on retaking it soon. I barely gave myself time to study before, and I’m not making that mistake again! Unfortunately, I don’t plan on retaking it before the application period ends, so I’m stuck with an 82 ?.

Anywhoo, good luck to everyone! I’ll say a prayer for us all! ?

 

 

I took the TEAS again and got an 88.7 AH! I hope this helps!! Now, the waiting game!! ?

Congrats! I am applying to some other schools that give extra points if you get a higher TEAS, but with CSUEB they said in an informational session that if you get 80% or 90%, that  you would still get the max points for anything 80 and above. I believe they are giving a Variety of points to the personal statements. ?

Thank you! Yes, I was told that, and also that the TEAS score (and/or GPA) is the deciding factor in the event of a tie! ?

Ohhhh, I thought it was the Science score on the TEAS that was considered if there was a tie. ?
