Hello everyone!
I'm applying to the fall 2017 program and wanted to start a thread in case anyone had questions for each other, compare points, etc. This way we can all stay updated with this stressful process! :)

@ runstohousebeats - I noticed you were accepted to the Fall 2015 cycle (saw your posts in the CSUCI Fall 2015 thread AND CSULB) with 37 points? Are you a re-applicant???
**TROLL ALERT**

Sorry for the lagged reply. I didn't get notice that I was replied too. Decided to just check the thread to see what was happening right now. But yes, I did get accepted in Fall 2015 with 37 points. Also got accepted to a few other schools. However like life does, it got in the way and I've had some things to deal with the past couple years so I had to withdraw unfortunately.
I'm hoping I can get in again with same amount of points but I'm just worried because my TEAS score has yet to be posted as received when I check the CSUCI nursing application. I know I sent my scores and called ATI just to make sure and everything checked out. I just hope that they have a ton of applications to comb through and haven't gotten to mine yet which would explain the lag.

You guys are all so amazing! I'm applying with 34 points!
Have any of you received emails after submitting your applications???
I was looking through the Fall 2015 and Fall 2016 threads, and it looks like they got emails about supplement materials. I haven't received ANY emails. Just wondering if everyone else was on the same boat??
Ah and the wait is killig me. It looks like we hear back during the last week of March.
runtohousebeats - I'm on the same boat as you! My TEAS box is unchecked
@ellinurse31
I emailed the nursing program the other day and asked them what the situation was with the TEAS checkbox and they got back to me right away. They told me I had turned in my application on February 16th and all my information and supplemental material was all reviewed by February 23rd. I still hadn't seen the checkbox at the time though. However, once they replied to tell me all my information was reviewed, I checked my application again and the box was ticked. So I'm guessing it was just a clerical oversight, not that they didn't actually get my scores. So if your box isn't checked, I wouldn't be worried.
And no, I also have not received email updates that my supplemental info had been received. But like I said before, they told me all my information was in and reviewed so I guess they're just not doing it this year? Hope that helps.
I just checked my application and now there's a check ^__^. Thanks for the reply!
Ah is it just me, or is anyone else anxious waiting to hear back!? I've looked at past threads, and it looks like people who have had 34 points haven't gotten in to the program
I've only seen 35+ get in. There was one dude in Fall 2016 thread, and the person had 32 pooints. It really makes me wonder how they select their cohort.
@runstohousebeats - Since you got in the past, did you attend orientation, and do you mind sharing your experience?
Also, QUESTION FOR TRANSFER APPLICANTS: when you go to myCI.csuci.edu and you go to "my records", does your application say COMPLETE or INCOMPLETE??
I wouldn't stress too much with 34 points. Even if you don't get in right away, I can almost promise you'll get an alternate spot. The guy with 32 points who got in either got in off the alternate list or was prior military. They do give some preference to males and military, I'm pretty positive about that.
And I was accepted to the program but I never went to an orientation or anything.
I'm also a transfer applicant but I'm not sure what you mean in regards to "complete or incomplete". I haven't accepted admission to the university yet because I'm waiting on word from nursing program.
@runstohousebeats Oh okay, I hope so too!
Oh so when you go to the link I posted. You have to click on my records, and it'll take you to an ORACLE website platform, which shows the status of your general undergrad application. And there it'll show the status of your app. Mine says incomplete

@ellinurse31 - I actually had the same thing on my application status. I just called CSUCI's admissions and records office, and they informed me that if your "To Do List" has no tasks for you to do, but your application has the triangle indicating "incomplete," it just means that they're waiting for the nursing program to accept/deny your application. They reassured that there is nothing to worry about and that the status of our undergraduate application is based on the nursing program's final decision. I hope this helps!
And yeah the wait is nerve wracking! Did you guys apply to other nursing programs?
@krisphil18 thanks for your reply.
That's definitely reassuring to hear! I applied to CSULB and CSULA as well.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!
Can you guys check your CONFIRMATION tab on your online applications and check what month does it say you submitted the online application???! Mine says MARCH, but I submitted my online app in February!
Mine says the same thing and I submitted mine in February. It says I submitted it today at this specific time right now. It's been like that every time I've checked. Pretty sure it's just the way the system works. It's not the actual time you submitted your application.
