Hi! As application period for the ASBSN program at Stan State is nearing, I was hoping to get a thread going so I can talk to others interested in this program. Anyone here applying?

Hi! I will hopefully be applying and plan on attending the info session on March 11. I am wondering if anyone knows what the average point cutoff is for past cohorts? I am so happy you made this thread! Thank you :)
Oh hey! I am not sure the past point cutoff has been, they do have the averages for each section posted on the stan website though. Right now I have around 75 points if I am doing my calculations correctly.... I am retaking Chemistry and depending how I do in that it will bump me up to around 81 or 87 points (depending if I get an A or a B). Really really hoping I have a shot at getting in..

Hi everyone!
I am applying for the Spring 2022 cohort as well. As far as point cutoffs, I don't think they report it, unfortunately. There was no discussion of it as well from the previous cohorts here. But yes, they do have their average GPA and TEAS scores available on their website.
I am currently retaking Micro and if all goes well (crossing my fingers on this one), I'll have 92 points (including CSU graduate, health care experience, and bilingual points).
Good luck everyone!

I'm hoping it's enough to get into the program, given how super competitive it is here in CA. ? are you applying to other schools besides Stan State?

This is the only program I will be applying to ?
I know its smart to apply all around but it's the only one I could make work so, all my effort is going in one pot LOL
Getting sooo anxious for application period.
I just looked at Stan State's website and it looks like they just updated the nursing page with the stats from Spring 2021 admission:
Spring 2021 Admission Number of Applications: 207 (40 seats available)
Average Overall GPA: 3.73
Average Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.79
Average Non-Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.67
Average ATI TEAS: 92%
Spring 2020 Admission Number of Applications: 155 (40 seats available)
Average Overall GPA: 3.51
Average Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.74
Average Non-Science Pre-requite GPA: 3.64
Average ATI TEAS: 84%
I'm surprised with the jump of average TEAS scores, I might have to retake my TEAS to increase my chances of getting in.
Oh wow, that is a huge jump on everything

Hi everyone! I’m also planning on applying this year and I’m wishing the best of luck to everyone! (Also thank you for starting this thread!) I was wondering if anyone knew how much units per class mattered for the prerequisites?
Some of my classes were taken on the quarter system, so I’m worried the courses won’t transfer over (a 4 unit quarter system class only equals 2.67 semester units ?) Any information that anyone has would be super appreciated! Thank you!!

Hi Everyone!
Glad to see a lot of people excited about the program, and I wish you all the best of luck with all your applications. I am really hoping to get in, without scoring higher on my next TEAS I currently stand at 100 pts.
Sydney - There is an information session Monday the 12th at noon! You should attend and ask. I'm not sure, but I would think they would accept your quarter system class as long as it was the same amount as units.
How's everyone doing with the TEAS? I'm pretty blown away by the 92% average from the last cohort. My first attempt was an 88% and I'm taking it again in two weeks because I'd like to be in the 90s with that new average!
