CSU Stanislaus ASBSN 2022

Hi!

As application period for the ASBSN program at Stan State is nearing, I was hoping to get a thread going so I can talk to others interested in this program.

Anyone here applying?

Is anyone else receiving "apply today" emails? It's throwing me off because it says the application period is in June

Hi! I attended and they did mention that it's possible that the ASBSN will have a combined single application versus applying to the university and the program separately. However, they weren't sure so they just said to keep an eye on the website.

They didn't say the exact point cut off but they did reiterate that the program is very competitive and they expect to have even more applicants this time around. If you were to go off the averages from the last cohort and compare them with the application scoring grid,I think it's safe to say that the average points is probably around 78-80 points before adding in any point for CSU graduate, permanent residency, healthcare experience and bilingual. My guess and this is just a guess is that the average was possibly in the 90s?

I would love to hear anyone else's thoughts. 

I attended the last info session this week, and Dr. Stanley mentioned that their cut off point for the last cohort was in the 85-87 range. She also said that the application will be completely online, but the requirements and selection process remains the same. 

I am hoping they will update the website before June 1st so we can get a feel of how the application process will go.

I believe that was the cut off point. She said she doesn't remember specifically but the lowest was between 85-87. Gives me some hope at least LOL.

Hi everyone!! A little under a month since the application has opened ? Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is feeling and if anyone has submitted yet!

Thanks for starting this thread! Very late in applying to Stanislaus. Has everyone submitted their applications already? I'm debating about retaking the TEAS after seeing the last cohort's average of 92%. I scored an 84.6% the first time ?

If you have the money in time it wouldn't hurt to retry. I'm stuck with an 86. I worry it won't be good enough

I just submitted my application as well! How's everyone feeling? The three month wait is going to be a torture for me for sure... ?
