Hello everyone. For the those who have been admitted for the Spring cohort...I was admitted in early August, paid my intent to enroll, completed my background check, and told to wait to hear more information in the coming months. Has anyone heard anything different? I had some issues with the admission process and this waiting is making me anxious I am missing something!

And for those concerned with admittance statistics, I believe I had 37 points. Stay on top of your application, as there seems to be some kinks in their process. The people in the EL office are very nice so don't fail to call and check on your status. Good luck with your efforts!

Hello everyone,

I applied to Spring ABSN in early August. I got an email last week that they couldn't find one of my transcripts, so I had to send them another. Hopefully they attempt to complete my evaluation again soon.

CORE GPA: 3.850

Last 60 units GPA: 3.747

TEAS: 85.3%

Total Points: 40

I still have Microbiology and O-Chem in progress right now. Hopefully that does not hinder their decision. I have such high scores, I would be so bummed!!

I also applied to Sacramento State, Chico State, and about to apply to CSU, Northridge (ABSN) in October.

Does anyone know when the Spring 2015 Cohort begins? I thought it began on January 20, 2015 with the rest of the spring semester. I have received an e-mail from extended learning that says it doesn't begin until April. Can anyone clarify?

I believe that is wrong. I looked at the allnurses.com feed for Spring 2014 ABSN and they started on January 21st last year. So... maybe EL misunderstood the question??

Has anyone who has been accepted receive an e-mail regarding the next steps? I have completed my background check and haven't heard a thing since. It has been several months and I am beginning to wonder.

I know. But the email they sent me said April. I just wanted to make sure if anyone else received an email regarding the next steps. But I guess we all just have to wait and see. Perhaps I am anxious to start.

I'm also applying to CSU northridge ? I'm finishing my BA in psych at northridge right now and will be graduating in December. About how long does it take for CSUSM to send out an evaluation after they receive our transcripts? I sent mine last week and they have received them because my application status online says completed.
