CSU San Marcos ABSN - Fall 2015

I didn't see a thread started for this yet and I was wondering if anyone else has been accepted to the Fall 2015 ABSN program at CSUSM yet? I received an email from CSUSM on 1/22/2015 that my application had been received. I finished my application online back in December 2014 but it took several calls to the Extended Learning office to get my application from "Saved" to "Posted" status.

I finally got my conditional acceptance today for Fall 2015. Does that mean I'm in? what does conditional acceptance mean?

@princethecat yeah you got in. Conditional acceptance means that you just have to meet a few requirements like putting down the deposit but you are in. CONGRATSSS !!!

Hi! I got my acceptance yesterday, June 10 for Fall 2015 cohort! I remember I applied around March.. And they took my previous TEAS scores. I was worried because my TEAS score was low and I'm going to take my another TEAS this coming Saturday. I guess I don't have to take it since I'm already in! I'm so excited ! Hoping that I can see you guys next semester :laugh:

Hey, Do you guys have problem accepting the admission? Im trying to make a payment to reserve my spot and it gives me an error. And congrats to all people who got accepted for Fall :cat::cat:

Princethecat, i had the same problem when i got accepted.

Give it a couple of days and theyll make it available for you to pay, or just call them and theyll be able to assist you :)

I originally applied for the Summer back in March. I knew it was late but figured it couldn't hurt to try. I got my evaluation May 5 and have 42 point overall. I received an email on May 14th asking me to reapply for the fall. I had to email them a couple of times to update my application with my transcripts and it finally said application complete this week. I'm concerned that I have to wait AGAIN for them to take a look at my application. Has anyone else been asked to reapply for a different term and if so, how long did it take for CSUSM take to get back to you. I'm getting kind of nervous. :writing:

I did, I was accepted for the summer but I asked if I can attend in the fall instead. The advisor asked me to reapply and he sent me an email with a code I could use to avoid repaying the fee. But I made sure that I was guaranteed a spot, and not that I would be considered. The email stated I a had conditional acceptance for the fall, and had a link to reapply for the fall.

Hi all,

i'm new to allnurses but I ran across this thread and thought I'd give my update. I applied for Fall 2015 and recently got in for Spring 2016.. For any prospective nurses out there that are doubting themselves or holding back from applying please don't! My evaluation scores are as follows: Teas: 82.7 % , pre-nursing Core GPA 3.27, and a point score of 24... Comparing my scores to others, I realized they weren't that high but hey I still got in and thats all that matters. So congrats to everyone who got in! And for those of you going through the process, don't give up! It's going to take time and i recommend you check in with CSUSM's extended learning at least once a month or every other month to confirm the status of your application... Goodluck!
