I feel like i applied ages ago and still haven't heard about any evaluation going on even though I called and said my application is complete and they posted it as complete too.... What's taking them so long eeeks

It's only been a week since I submitted my application for Fall and I'm already anxious. :nailbiting: Has anyone else applied this late? Seems like most of you had applied in the beginning of the year.

I encourage you to remain persistent. Keep following up with your application progress by calling Extended Learning. They can be slow to act but if you continue to contact them, they will give you updates on your application.

So I called the school of extended learning and the person on the line told they are sending out admission decisions at the end of may. Check your application to see that nothing is missing and if your application says incomplete....call them to find out what you need to send in.

You are right, thanks! For some reason I thought each cohort has 20 seats, so I still have high hopes for us late applicants.

It used to be they only had 50 seats per Cohort!! Recently, they've been admitting about 60 students per cohort!!! Yay!!!! Keep your chins up n there is still hope!!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!

Update: So I received an email yesterday from an advisor at CSUSM saying that my application was incomplete an they need a transcript from a study abroady program I did during my undergrad. The classes were through a different university than where I got my bachelors and they are shown on my transcript from my university *but* they still need a separate transcript from the other university. Seems kind of redundant, and I don't know why the need the same info twice... but rules are rules I suppose. Anyway now I'm waiting again for my transcript to get to CSUSM when I thought I was all done. :confused:

Nope, but it's only been about 4 weeks since I submitted mine.

Wow, that's going to be a while. I submitted mine early march and right now my application says complete. I will call them tomorrow to see when they are sending out admissions. They say it takes 6-8 weeks to get an evaluation.
