  1. Sure I'll look for it, thanks for being so helpful :)
  2. Retake some classes to boost your gpa and get med experiences! I had an undergrad 2.74 gpa and got into a BSN/MSN program. I retook like 3 classes and took an additional 5 more to boost my gpa, my science ended up as 3.9 and cumulative 3.59
  3. Well I got in! But it is the APW and not the pre-licensure, it is different right?
  4. I think I might be giving up by spot for another program so that's one more spot for someone else
  5. Ok thanks for the tip I will call them and ask
  6. But serious props to how you are so dedicated to her that you are willing to "suffer" through this stage of her life. I hope things work out for you two :)
  7. She sounds like how I react in stressful situations (like school). Some people just don't excel in multiple dimensions of their lives and need time to focus on one or compromise both. I think you two should sit down and talk it out about how you really feel about each other and imagine the big picture of your lives. It can be done with her in school and in a relationship but you will just need to give her plenty of space to study while she is going to school (but there might also be a small chance that she wants out and is using school as an excuse). Well, Honesty is the best policy so just talk it out!
  8. I feel like i applied ages ago and still haven't heard about any evaluation going on even though I called and said my application is complete and they posted it as complete too.... What's taking them so long eeeks
  9. Hello all thank you for your info, I was wondering for the APW program, how easy was it to get externships? I am an applicant for the APW program and am now just waiting to hear back after the interview (very anxiety-inducing!)
  10. Hm no her name doesn't ring a bell, well I will probably hear back tmr about the interview, thanks for answering my questions! :)
  11. Also, strangely I checked the email again and there isn't a link, she basically just asked for my available time/dates without talking about the supplemental app, did you guys apply through nursingcas ?
  12. I submitted my application for fall but did not submit the supplemental app (how do you do that?) but I received an email to interview oddly now I'm just waiting to hear back for which dates to interview...
  13. Happy you heard back! :) I'm waiting on a bunch of bachelors and masters program but honestly I might just accept if I don't hear from anything else come mid May.
  14. Don't mean to sound pompous either but a community college is easier than a university in my experience - I graduated from a top 25 institution for my undergrad and did terrible there 2.74 gpa, and then I attended 5 different community colleges here in Los Angeles (LATTC, WLAC, SMC, LASC, ELAC) to speed up the pre-req process and even doubling up on science courses was a breeze and I have a 4.0 from all those classes... I mean maybe some universities aren't as hard but my undergrad sure wasn't easy compared to these community colleges. Luckily I got into Santa Monica College so that's a nice back-up plan but it was also because I did pretty well on the nln-pax (150). Still currently waiting on some more absn programs to get back to me...
  15. Congrats @antlers11
