I'd like to start a thread to those applying or have already applied to the ABSN program for Fall 2013 (Temecula/San Marcos locations)
I personally have not applied yet. I still have Anatomy and Microbiology in progress this Spring semester and will be completing Physiology during Summer. I'd like to apply soon, but quite hesitant since I still have quite a number of courses IP.
I will be contacting an advisor within this week and will definitely update this thread with further information. It might be too early to say, but good luck to all of us!
Hello all! I just got accepted to the Temecula Fall 2013 cohort but not sure if I should go because it is such a late notice for me. Classes start literally in 2 months and I don't know how I would find a place to live so fast! I am currently residing in NorCal SF bay area and this will be a tough decision for me. I would also like to be added into the facebook group please. I don't know how to PM someone email me at [email protected] ? thanks!

I just got my letter too! I'm going for it but I've got lots of questions about the whole finance/cost of doing the program. I would also like to join the facebook group.

But I will reiterate again to please check up on anything you have mailed because you never know! I hope to find out soon...the wait is an odd feeling ATM.

Good to hear that! I am waiting as well... I hope it does take them faster to do the evaluations as the program begins in a month (crazy!!!) although I'm not so hopeful anymore that I'll get considered for this cohort because it seems like a lot of people have already been accepted. But I'm still in this waiting game..

I'm feeling the same way too! We should make a thread for the spring 2014 in a couple of weeks if we hearing nothing back! Haha.
Haha, we should, but I would really like to start this Fall I'd rather move to Temecula since it's kind of closer to LA rather than San Marcos. Come to think of it, it shouldn't take them 6-8 weeks to do the evaluations cause from the time I submitted it, at the 6-8 week mark, classes should already be starting!

Your class ends mid-July right? Hmm...it took two weeks for my final transcripts to be submitted and another two weeks for the school to get it. I was feeling like it was cutting it too close too. I prefer to be much closer to San Diego because I live about 35-40 minutes south from San Marcos. I would not mind the commute. I've heard that in the first semester, we have class 3 times a week.

They said the same to me too but I didn't get my evaluation letter for another 6 weeks. :/ They were picky about your class IP? Wow. San Marcos was more about just completing before the start date which was cool. It's interesting how you can take other classes at another time than usual like the nursing core prereqs.
