Hello, I was wondering if anyone has applied for the traditional BSN program at CSUS? I have a 3.89 GPA and an 87.1 on the TEAS, but I'm still freaking out about whether or not I will make it. Just curious if anyone is in the same boat? Thanks!

I am applying to Sac State as well but that is really my 3rd choice. I have a 4.0 and a 92 on the teas. I hope u get in Sac if that is your first choice =). Good Luck.
I think your stats look good. I don't have any of the supplemental stuff do you?
Hi Brighten,
Yeah, I'm applying for the work experience, economic and disadvantaged high school optional criteria. Overall I have 77 pts. I have one B and it really brings down your points! If you have a 4.0, that's 50 pts. and with your TEAS, you should get accepted. Thanks for the kind words! I posted this tread on the CA nursing programs board but only got one reply.
Cool. I want to go to CSUEB. Damn I didn't know a 4.0 gives u 50 points for Sac. good to know. Whats the max pts someone can get for sac?

112 is the max points. 50 for gpa. 50 for teas and up to 12 for the supplemental criteria .

I'm in the same boat!!! Apes, do you know what is considered "low-income status" for the economic part? Sac's my top choice because its closest to me, not to mention my boyfriend goes there & we have an apartment out there already :/
I hate not knowing what the future holds!
Cheezn4life, how many points do you have? I know the cutoff for spring was 74, but they only took continuing CSUS students. I hope the cutoff is somewhere around there, but considering they didn't take any students for Spring, I'm sure it will be higher:^(
I know I was thinking the same thing! I bet alot more people will be applying for this fall since they didnt allow transfer students for spring :/ so im scared its going to be alot higher! I have a 4.0 & a 88.2% on the Teas. I'm trying to apply for the economic portion also because my dad is a widow but I dont know if he has a "low enough" income to qualify! I also qualify for the bilingual points because i took 3years of highschool Spanish. It seems like were pretty much around the same amount of points, with you a little ahead of me. Lets just pray the cutt off is 80 or below lol :/
Well good luck!! Hopefully we both get in, I'm living in Jacksonville, FL right now and I have applied to UNF and I think their nursing program is a little easier to get in to, but they have a big interview session and that weights heavily on your admission. Either way, I'm hoping for Sac because I'm from there, and I want to move back!!!
Oh wow that is a far move back! goodluck to you as well, hopefully we'll see eachother during the program's orientation
How does the HS foreign language thing work? Do you have to go to your high school to get those?
