CSU Long Beach BSN Spring 2023

Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats. 

Mine are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

TEAS Composite: 98.0

TEAS Reading: 93.6

I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

I’m not sure. I read on the advising page that we’ll get an example of the classes we need to register for based on our degree but I also heard that we don’t do anything during the registration part because our classes are picked for us. So confused ?

It's one of the steps for newly admitted transfer students. Not sure if we would have to take it, but I've checked the past threads, some people registered and took the test.

I'm a pre-nursing student at CSULB and got accepted on November 7th! Also for the people talking about the GPE test you need to have your score back in order to enroll in GERN 400 which is a GE class we take in the second semester, at least according to the major requirement worksheet. I took my GPE this semester and am still waiting for my score. It's basically just a writing assessment, nothing to stress about!!

You should email them asap because I think they said everyone would be notified by middle of November. Additionally, transcripts were already due two days ago so I’d contact them right away.

I think that the next session isn't until February. There are example responses on the school website you can look at to get an idea of what is on the test. There isn't a ton you can do to prepare, as long as you know how to write an essay you will be fine!!

Shoot! Haha I’m sooo confused too. I’m just hoping to get an idea of what our schedule will look like soon so I can talk to my work and all that. We start in like two months!

I know!! I feel so bad because my work needs to know and IDK what to tell them. They gave us less than a weeks notice for the communication exercise! I had to do it in my car on my lunch LOL

hi guys, just wondering if anyone of you are keeping a part-time job during this program? my coworkers that are in nursing school say I should move down to per diem but in past forums ppl say a partime is doable.
