  1. Got it. Does this mean local students leave at 3 pm instead of 5 pm? Fortunately, I don't have a schedule conflict and seem to be a local student.
  2. After reviewing the orientation agenda, how do you know if you are an out-of-town or a local student? Do local students refer to individuals who only live in Long Beach or those who live within the local preference of the school? It seems they would have to get their uniforms fitted on Sunday instead, while out-of-town students get theirs done from 3-5 pm on Dec. 10th.
  3. So should we just take the assessment without any preparation beforehand?
  4. Did anyone else receive an email from CHHS-Advising? If I understood correctly, the virtual session on your Advising and Registration day is not mandatory, right? You would only join the zoom meeting if you have any questions or seek advice about your classes.
  5. Hi! What did nursing students do at the SOAR orientation? During the communication exercise, we were told we held spots in classes, and classes would be chosen for us. However, if I understood correctly, SOAR is when individuals register for classes. Does this mean we don't participate in class registration during the orientation?
  6. I'm curious about that too. The Spring Deadline is December 1st, according to the Steps for Newly Admitted Transfers page. However, wasn't it mentioned during the communication exercise that this would be discussed at the in-person orientation on December 10th? Or did I remember incorrectly?
  7. I did too. While going through the process of accepting my admission, my status said something about the requested documents being received... I also checked my To Do List, which only listed AP Scores, so I assume I have to send them to CSULB. Did anyone who did not send transcripts during the application process have something about transcripts listed on their To Do list? Oh, as transfer students, are we supposed to sign up for SOAR now?
  8. Ohhh. To send our transcripts, is it to go on to the website our college has kept out transcripts and send it to CSULB? I went to Cerritos, and it said I would have to "buy" my official transcripts from Parchment.com . Congrats on getting in!
  9. Also, as a transfer student, this doesn't count as an official admission notice, right? Instead, it says something about activating your account and accessing MyCSULB Student Center. So do you wait for the official letter from SON to accept the admission offer?
  10. I have a feeling you did...I just checked, and I got offered conditional admission. Does that mean I'm accepted or something? ? If it does, let me process my emotions ?
  11. Ohh, thx! I'm just worried because my score of 9.388 is on the lower end compared to everyone else's score. To be honest, I'm just preparing to be waitlisted (if lucky and hope to get accepted) or rejected and apply to other schools.
  12. Just curious, are there other hidden factors that may impact the decision of your admission to the nursing school? I know your admission is based on your impaction score but can other factors like being in the military or being of local preference add some points?
