Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats.
Mine are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 4.0
TEAS Composite: 98.0
TEAS Reading: 93.6
I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

Hey! ?
Here are my stats as of now:
Gen ED GPA: 4.0
TEAS: (Taking 7/25 but I scored low 90’s on practice tests)
Do you know if they only count your non-science prerequisites towards the 2nd GPA? Or is it your cumulative GPA for all college courses you’ve taken before (non-science)? I had a rough start my first couple years in college (2013-2015) and dropped out to join the military so if it’s cumulative then it would be 3.5 ?…but since I’ve gone back to school to complete my prereqs I’ve had a 4.0 GPA. I thought I read in past forums it was just the required courses they count. Anyways, amazing stats!! You’re definitely going to get in! Any tips for the TEAS?
Also, I would love to have a group chat if you’re up for it!

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.
One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.
The other is to create a "Club" within thesite,by clicking onthe Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
We wish you success in your Nursing program!

What did you struggle on most? There’s a great resource on Youtube for reading and ELU. Her name is Carolyn McAllister and she’s amazing!

Do you have any tips? ? I’m nervous about the application process and the communication exercise. Is the program extremely difficult?
The communication exercise for me was on zoom, and they just played a video and we had like 10 minutes to answer a couple questions (written assignment), and then we were put in breakout rooms and each person answered 1 question (interview-style). Also, just because you get invited to the communication exercise doesn't mean you're accepted, but you are definitely steps closer to being admitted.
The program is not easy, I am in the trimester program so it's accelerated but you finish in 1.5 years there's just no Summer. The program is doable, it's just a little rough in the beginning. Some days are easier than most, but I would 100% still recommend it.
Also, getting in the Spring is easier compared to the fall because there are wayyy less applicants.

Do you think I have a good chance of getting in? Here’s my stats:
GE GPA: Thought it was gonna be 4.0 but my philosophy professor was tough and I got a B so I’m not sure what it would be..? Probably like a 3.8 now with that one B.
TEAS composite: 88.7% (1.774 pts)
TEAS reading: 94.9% (1.898 pts)
Total pts: 9.572
I’m probably going to retake the TEAS again because I didn’t study for the first one and I know I can do better. Also, do you know if they give additional points for being a veteran? I know I’ll get local preference but I’m not sure if the SON does anything in regards to that.

Science which is suppose to be my strength, but honestly I got an average of 70 for each category. I am probably comfortable with the topics but not enough to excel. I used Nurse Cheung, ATI TEAS manual and practice A &B , mometrix prep, Professor Yu, Jakara Lewis, and Brandon Craft.

Definitely try out Carolyn McAllister on Youtube for reading and ELU! Also I think there’s an apps that you can get for studying! But for science I mainly focused on studying the digestive and reproductive systems as well as hormones.

Hi everyone!
After getting rejected last fall, I’m re-applying for Spring 2023.
My stats:
GE GPA : 4.0
SCIENCE GPA : 3.76
TEAS OVERALL : 90
TEAS READING : 87.2
TOTAL POINTS : 9.304
I’m getting pretty anxious because my score is really low compared to everyone else so I think I’m gonna have to take the TEAS again before submitting my supplemental app. ?
