Jun 14, 20233 yr Hey everyone! Just wanted to start a new thread for us Spring 2024 applicants. Im making this pretty early but would be nice to have others looking to apply to CSULB.

I'm pretty sure that puts you above average compared to the Spring 2022 cycle so I think you're nearly guaranteed to get in! Mind giving a few tips for the TEAS? That's the last part of my application and I'd love to get a similar score

I thought the smart edition really helped me with English and science while mometrix helped me with reading. I also used YouTube, I watched nurse cheung, Professor yu, and Carolyn McAllister.

Might be a dumb question but how is your GE GPA 4.0 and Science GPA 3.76. Does it mean that they do not include science in the other GPA category for impaction score calculation?

Does it mean that they do not include science in the other GPA category for impaction score calculation? Science and the ge foundation are counted separately. Science GPA is solely chem, Microbiology, anatomy, and physiology. I got a b in micro and when I calculate the GPA for just these 4 classes together, it turn out to be 3.76. The Ge foundation classes that they are taking into consideration for the application are oral comm, written comm, critical thinking, and stats. I had all A's in those classes and ap credit for written comm so my GPA for ge would 4.0. They don't look at your other ge classes like ethnic studies or humanities stuff.

I thought they count overall GPA regardless of what classes you took. Thank you for the clarification!
Jul 11, 20233 yr Hi, thanks for creating this thread! This is a silly question, but how do you calculate the impaction score? And also please let me know if you know the cutoff score. Thank you! :)

Jul 11, 20233 yr Author Took the TEAS so time to list my stats! Science GPA = 4.0 General ED GPA - 4.0 Overall TEAS = 94 TEAS Reading = 92.3 4+2+1.88+1.846 = 9.726 Impact score Hopefully, this is more than enough to get in!
