Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats.
Mine are:
Science GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 4.0
TEAS Composite: 98.0
TEAS Reading: 93.6
I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

Also, I was wondering do you have to get a certain brand of scrubs or can it be any brand as long as you put the school patch on?

I know for a different nursing program I got in they emailed us and said we needed to get a background check, a physical, and they gave us a list of immunizations to get.
That information will be provided during your orientation meeting.

I'm currently a 4th-semester student here at CSULB. If anyone has any questions regarding the program (1st semester, clinical, care plans, NCLEX, etc... Feel free to ask!
Hi! What did nursing students do at the SOAR orientation? During the communication exercise, we were told we held spots in classes, and classes would be chosen for us. However, if I understood correctly, SOAR is when individuals register for classes. Does this mean we don't participate in class registration during the orientation?

SOAR orientation is for CSULB and is meant to introduce the resources available to you as students. Once you are selected for either trimester/semester, you will be added to the respective beachboard class where you can view your class schedules and other nursing resources. Class schedules are done for you and you are guaranteed all your classes. Downside is that you don't get to choose which days/clinical sites so please be flexible if you have work. The only classes you are able to choose are the few upper level GE classes needed to satisfy graduation requirements.

When do we find out if we’re trimester/semester?
