Hey guys! Just letting you know that I called the office this morning, but they left an automated message saying the office will be available November 19th (due to the fire). But it doesn't hurt to try!

Hey guys! That is helpful to know. I've been trying to contact them since the beginning of Novemeber but they have not replied. If any of you are moving to chico to attend, have you had any luck at any apartment complexes? I have been looking but they have all been full.

I don't see the "accept" button on my Student Center page. Does that mean I haven't been provisionally accepted to the university? I received two emails on 10/4 and 10/24 that both said that I need to accept/decline acceptance to the university and that the deadline is November 15. I'm confused :/ When I click "View Application Details" all it says is they've received my app and it's pending.

I was in the same situation, so I emailed them earlier this month and this is what they said: "As a postbac you are simply in a holding pattern. Admissions won't do anything further with your application to the university until you learn if you have obtained a seat in the nursing program. So nothing more for you to do right now but to cross your fingers!"

I also applied to Sacramento State, and they told us that second bachelors students and transfer students outside of Sac State's local service area will have their Intent to Enroll processed only if they are selected for the BSN program. I don't know if this is the case for out of area applicants to Chico State as well, but maybe that could be why?

Thank you so much!! I thought I was in a pickle cuz I couldn't call them. That's a huge relief since I'm also applying as a postbac. So we just need to wait for their decisions to come out. Nice.

No problem! I was stressing about that too so it was a relief to hear back. I hope they're all doing okay with the fires! Scary stuff.

I received something in the mail saying that i was admitted to the university (this was back to mid october or so), and i was able to go ahead and accept admission were then next allows yo to select excempt feom the admission deposit due to the nursing application. Yesterday, the main screen in the student center was different, and now it was indicating me to follow some steps. One of the steps was to register for the orientation, but I think the deadline was like two days ago. Did anyone register for the orientation at all? Or is that only for other students? I know that some of the other schools that i applied to do not make you register for orientation until you are accepted into the program, but i dont know about chico. Im afraid i might have missed something important :s

How does Chico determine the order for acceptance and waitlist? I feel like I'll probably be waitlisted with my points, but how do they determine the order if there's say 5 people with 90 points? What's their tiebreaker?
