CSU Chico Fall 2020

Hey everyone! I am going to be applying for Chico's nursing program for Fall 2020. Just wondering how everyone's application process is going and what their point standing is as of right now. I am very nervous but hopeful!

Still haven't heard anything besides the email on 5/1 stating I was still in the review pool. I've been checking every day. I'm super worried that in-person classes might be pushed back next semester and what that means for us if we get in. Hopefully things will all be better before then

Yes, I am worried about that too. I’m hoping if we get in they will be able to work it all out regardless of the situation. Right now I’m just trying to focus on hoping I get in! LOL.

Sac State is taking only 40 students instead of the usual 80 this Fall so competition for Chico will be just a little bit more stiffer ? I'm concerned for that.

Ya I heard about that! That worries me a little bit too? I just want to hear back from them because I'm stressing out more each day wondering what might happen to next semester of classes. My mind keeps thinking of worst-case-scenario situations. I cant stand the idea of being behind in school, as I'm already a year behind my original schedule, and I fear this will put us behind more. I know it would probably be for the best if things don't get better soon, but to just sucks

Hey everyone!

I also applied to the Chico State nursing program w/ 90+ points. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough points to apply to Sacramento State. Chico is now my only option, but it’s my top choice! I’m really anxious and excited about acceptance day this Friday!!
I’ve been checking my email constantly. LOL.

Hello everyone!

I applied last semester to Chico State with 93 points. I was #6 on the alternate list and thought I would get in judging on past years. Sadly last semester 0 alternates were accepted. I did better on the TEAS and now have 95 points which puts me in a better spot. Good luck to all of you, this process is so stressful!

I’m sure you’ll get in now then! That’s crazy you had 93 points and still didn’t get in. 95 is amazing. congratulations!

93 is so good! I can't believe you still didn't get in with that last semester. You're in a really good position this semester though!

I just got super anxious because I saw an email from the office of admissions, but it was just saying that most classes will probably be online next semester besides some (I'm assuming that would be our classes and classes similar). Fingers crossed that we hear back soon, and that we can still actually go to school next semester

I saw that too! I hope it doesn’t delay our acceptance ?
