CRNA application for Barry University May 2020

Applying to Barry University Nurse Anesthesia Program for May 2020 cohort!! My GPA 3.89, ACLS/BLS/CCRN certified, 4 years of medical ICU experience.

Studying to take the GRE in May!

I am so nervous to apply. I am not good at standardized test.

What are other ppl stats? Do you think I'll get an interview.

But if that is the case I wouldnt Have wasted my money or time.

Not disappointed. My first school I applied to. Applying to others and keeping my fingers crossed. It’ll work out.

GPA 3.2, CVICU 1.7 months experience by matriculation, nurse since Aug 2017. GRE 302 V153 Q149 W4, planned to take the CCRN by October/November

That’s so frustrating! The application process is so involved and it is expensive.

When did you guys who heard back yesterday apply?? Applied on 8/22 and still haven't heard anything but Denise said my application was received.

I submitted 9/2 and haven’t heard anything yet...it’s only been a week though.

I submitted end of July. Everything was complete by end of August though. I’m applying to potentially USF, UM, Augusta, UAB, Samford, UT and maybe more but I’m hoping to get in by then lol

Did you hear back for an interview? What do you mean everything was completed at the end of August? Were there additional steps?

I submitted my USF application the day prior to Barry’s. I know they’ve been conducting interviews for those who submitted in early August. So hopefully we will hear back soon.

I submitted my application to Barry pending some items, but had them all completed by August except CCRN. No I didn’t receive an interview to Barry and I haven’t finished applying to the other schools yet. I don’t qualify for USF program until next year

I don’t know what’s worse, applying, waiting, or interviewing.

Applying is terrible to anywhere. Nursing Cas has made this application cycle difficult for me. I’m so frustrated.

I agree. Very difficult to navigate. I will let you guys know right away as soon as I hear anything.
