Critical Care Trauma Nurse Parkland

Hey there, I posted this under graduate nurses but maybe I'll have more luck here!

I'm just wondering if anyone has interviewed for this program and is awaiting the phone call or email from them with the results this week?? I'm going out of my mind staring at my phone waiting for a call.... I kind of want to call them Friday if they haven't called by then (wish I could do it today!!) Let me know if anyone else is in the same boat or have already heard from them

I don't know about the CC internship...good luck to all that applied!

However, I interviewed last week for Parkland's ER residency and got a call on Friday morning offering me a position! Of course I accepted! Soooo excited!!!!

Hang in there, all...the waiting can be brutal!

wow congrats!! Do you happen to know anything about how long they are interviewing for and who the contact person is for that? I really wish that I could get in the residency since I didn't get the internship..

I interviewed for the internship too and am anxiously awaiting a phone call! Good luck everyone....we should definitely get together to celebrate and meet each other before it starts!!:yeah:

I'm guessing its not a good sign that I still haven't heard from Parkland about the internship... Did you all get results?

Meggo, who are you waiting to hear back from? I had an ER interview and I'm getting discouraged because I haven't heard anything yet and a poster posted that they were offered a position on Friday. :crying2:

I know someone else who got offered an ER residency last week. Have you called the recruiter to ask about your status? I am waiting to hear about the Critical Care Internship - I spoke to the recruiter a week ago but I haven't heard anything good or bad since. Even if I got rejected I would like to know so I don't keep thinking about it! :uhoh3:

Just as I posted, I got a call from Parkland! I got the position! She also sent me an email. Hopefully, they will have the same courtesy to contact you but I think at PArkland, they always do either way.

Good luck to you. Maybe it won't be much longer. I would say no news is good news, means you are still in the running. I know the waiting makes you doubt yourself. Fingers crossed for you!
