Critical care is no joke, but I found it to be more straightforward than other nursing classes!
Books that really helped me:
* Critical Care Nursing Made Incredibly Easy!
* Manual of Critical Care Nursing (this seriously has everything you need to know in a condensed, easy-to-understand format)
* for EKGs: ECG Workout by Jane Huff RN
You really need to study hard for this class. I honestly think I studied a lot more for critical care than any other class in nursing school!
Good luck, and I hope this helps!
