Well, how many CLASSES is that. Some of the nursing courses at the school that I am starting in January are 8 hours for a single class.
I wouldn't panic until you know more. There is no way that is 30 hours of traditional courses, b/c if it is (and I doubt it) , you would be doing yourself a favor by changing to a traditional program.
There are 9 courses, broken up to 3 different intervals... 5 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks, respectively. 4 classes the first interval, 3 the second and 2 classes for the last. I know people survived through it, I just hope I can.. I expect to lose my hair, skin, weight and probably my sanity.....YIKES!
I don't have the option to chose another program, since all applications deadline for nearby schools are passed. DIfficult as it sounds, there were about 150-200 applicants. Only 12 are accepted. I should be happy I'm accepted???

30 hours are confirmed... I too thought it was a misprint.

I've just been informed that my school load this spring is 30 credits. I knew that acelerated programs are grueling, but 30 hrs????? That' s insane !!!!
Is this the norm for acelerated nursing degrees?
