Sorry for another post! I am trying to get things squared away before classes start and figure this is the best place to ask just about everything :).
Through the Red Cross I can get my 2 year certification online and then I just have to schedule a skills test w/an instructor to demonstrate that I can do the tasks effectively. Has anyone done this? All of the regular classes available are days before my classes start and I'd like to get this checked off my list sometime this month so I can breathe a little easier.

Yep I did it. Was real easy since I have had CPR for YEARS. Online stuff took no time at all and the skills stuff just comes second nature now and was in and out again in a short amount of time.

My school won't accept online CPR, so make sure yours do. Also, they do not accept certifications from any places other than the ones received from American Heart Association. So make sure your school will take Red Cross.
Thanks :) I am going to check in the morning w/them just to be sure. It did say on our form that we could choose from any place such as the fire department, hospital, red cross, ect who offer CPR for medical professionals. I hope it works out that way because it would be a lot more convenient :)
