What CPNE workshop is everyone attending...I was just looking into them and not sure which one to go through....I'm trying to do the most affordable route. Even though some of them are cheaper, the cost that it'll take to travel will equate to the same cost. I am not yet eligible for the CPNE and I hope I'm not jinxing myself by talking about it already, but I do know that I have to register for the workshop in advance. Thanks for your help in advance!

I have heard good things about the online workshop that is offered by :
CPNE Workshop
Then I am going to purchase rob's dvds:
Rob's DVDs
And the last thing is I'm going to use the tips recommended in the following thread, this person prepared and tested rather quickly. I am giving myself twice the time as them so I should do great.
Passed CPNE 3/25/11
Hope that helps.

I know it's more expensive but when the time comes I may just do the one that Excelsior offers. Only they know EXACTLY what they want. I have read great things about a few different workshops here but how is a "3rd party" going to know when Excelsior decides to change the way they want things done? I just don't want to take the chance with 2K of my hard earned money. Just my two cents :)
The only thing that I have heard about the Excelsior workshop is that it isn't a teaching workshop. The others that everyone talks about are workshops where you are taught the skills that you need to know for the CPNE, they go through the CPNE study guide. Just wanted to let you know.
It might just be a great advantage to both if it's financially possible. I just know when the time comes I want to give myself every possible edge to pass it first time.
I hear ya with taking every possible edge to pass, but at the end of this program is when all the finances really add up....I'm stressing over having the money for everything

I have no clue what to do. I could go to Chancellors workshop in Indiana thats paid for, or Tina's workshop in PA. I live in PA and that workshop is 45 min away from me. Airfare expenses, etc with Indiana and Tina's workshop I think the price probably will be the same. I want whatever will get me to pass. Heard great things about both workshops. Any help greatly appreciated.
airline travel, having to find your way around an unfamiliar state/city, sleeping in a hotel, being away from familiarness may = STRESS
comfort of your own bed, knowing if anything happens at home you are close = PRICELESS
IMHO I would take the one closer to home. You want to be able to concentrate on the workshop not worry if your baggage is going to get lost, or if you are going to get lost or if someone is going to break into your hotel and steal all of your clothes, or if your plane is going to get hijacked by some crazed maniac that hates distance education nursing students....anyway, you get my point. :)
Thank you, you do have good point!! I didn't think of that stress. I was more thinking what will get me to pass.
