What CPNE workshop is everyone attending...I was just looking into them and not sure which one to go through....I'm trying to do the most affordable route. Even though some of them are cheaper, the cost that it'll take to travel will equate to the same cost. I am not yet eligible for the CPNE and I hope I'm not jinxing myself by talking about it already, but I do know that I have to register for the workshop in advance. Thanks for your help in advance!
It costs $147 a month so I started on it last week and it will be 6 weeks before my clinical date. Im just doing it for one month. One month should be enough cause the videos will be the same no matter how many months you are enrolled. Wanted time to watch videos and then practice afterwards.

Thanks for the advice! I am probably going to buy Rob's CPNE video set and the Excelsior wound to practice with, and practice my PCS's on my family and friends. Does the online workshop include the same as the in person one, as far as care plan critique and stuff?
Hi everyone! I attended Tina Logan's workhsop in Wilkes Barre, PA in March. She definitely lives up to her reputation of being extremely TOUGH, but thorough. She is very dedicated and really wants you to pass. With that being said, she is brutal on your care plans. But with my CPNE date quickly approaching in May, I'm glad I went. This has been such a tough journey. I pray I pass the first time!! Good luck to everyone!!
I know it's more expensive but when the time comes I may just do the one that Excelsior offers. Only they know EXACTLY what they want. I have read great things about a few different workshops here but how is a "3rd party" going to know when Excelsior decides to change the way they want things done? I just don't want to take the chance with 2K of my hard earned money. Just my two cents :)
I completely felt the same way. I did do Tina Logan's workshop and she encourages you to send your care plans to Excelsior as well as her, keep your phone conferences, send care plans via the message ctr. etc. Several people I met at Tina's workshop in March attended an Excelsior one as well. They like both. They like Excelsior's and they liked Tina's because it was more of a "teaching" one. I really could only afford to do one, and I went with Tina's. But I have everything else from Excelsior...skills kit, wound, DVD with workbook. I guess however you can learn the critical elements, labs, care plans and documentation and charting is an individual thing. I do know Tina graduated from Excelsior and keeps up to date on the latest changes via her students. I wish you the best of luck!!! I've heard great things about Excelsior's workshop.

Hi,
Good luck preparing for CPNE and passing on your 1st try. When you pass come back and let us know and if you want to resell your kit and wound from Excelsior I may be interested. I hope to be CPNE eligible by July. I am also planning on doing Excelsior workshop and one of the others if I can find something that fits my schedule.
I passed CPNE on Feb 11-13. I live in the Atlanta Ga area. I would be happy to share what I did to successfully pass CPNE. email me if you would like at [email protected]
I would probably go to excelsior the Ca and Ce are the ones teaching it and they know exactly what they are looking for. I went to an excelsior one and it was great. someone sent me their things from a private one and I saw alot of mistakes in it. Seems like to much of a risk to get even a small amount of wrong information

I highly recommend sheri"s workshop. That is what I am currently doing now cause I can't afford to go to a workshop.
