tina logan in pa!!!! with me passing this weekend, her cpne passing rate is now 97%. can't beat that!!!!

here's her website: http://www.necworkshop.com/

and do yourself a favor and sign up for her careplanning yahoo group. it''s a little bit extra but not that much and she gives you so much support.

her workshop and careplanning is worth every penny. tina is the reason why i passed.

I've heard great things about Tina, I went to EC just so I could get confirmation that I was doing things right.

Is it better to take the workshop early or closer to CPNE date?

Everybody's different ... I actually took two. :) I did one when I started my studies, then did Tina's workshop two weeks before my CPNE. It was great. Regardless, I think the best bet is to have read the study guide thoroughly and practiced labs before going to a workshop so that you get the most out of it.

I didn't take any workshops, so i am def not an authority on the issue, and i think the most important thing is that you know your study guide inside & out, practice AOCs & labs until you could do them in your sleep, and have mneumonics & grid worked out to keep you organized. If i could have taken a workshop, it would have been excelsiors...and i would have taken it mainly to help with the nerves...not that other workshops couldn't be just as informative, but i would have felt more confident knowing i went to workshop by actual CEs.

:) good luck!!!

Whichever you choose, be sure to do Tina's careplanning group on yahoo. I was struggling with careplanning and documenting the "EC Way" and doing this group put it all together for me.

Did you take the workshop close to the cpne date or in the beginning of your studies

What all students need to remember is that a workshop will tell you everything you need to know but.... Will you retain it all as it is shoved into your head over 2-3 days? That is the Key. Students need to go to a workshop, and that's any workshop, prepared. The more prepared you go to a workshop the more you will get out of it! And it doesn't matter if it is my Workshop, Ec"s or Lynn's. And for the record I did the EC Workshop prior to my CPNE but went prepared. So it was well worth the "Horses Mouth" feedback I got. But remember EC's CPNE Workshop is not a teaching Workshop. Out of the 21 student that I attended the EC Workshop with. Only 4 of us walked out of there knowing what we needed to for CPNE. The others were lost.

PS.... Workshops are not vacations... they are hard work....and for my students...very long hours... right you guys

One other thing I'd like to add. My friend I am not the reason you passed. Sure I gave you the tools but you are the one that used those tools to your "GN" Success. You did this.... You passed CPNE!

Thanks for the advice t-lo, so I wont sign up for a workshop until I am sure I am well prepared, I am glad you cleared that up for me so I get the most out of the workshop, I was under the impression workshops were teaching
