CPNE

Published

Okay...so I applied online for CPNE on Tuesday (4/26/11) evening...and all my documents were accepted on Wednesday...and Yesterday I received my CPNE date! I will be taking it on August 19-21 @ Albany Medical Center! Can't believe I found out so quickly! I am going to be going to Tina's Workshop in PA July 22-24. My FCCA will be arriving on May 17 and I have from the 18-27th to work on it! I can't believe I am at the point....it feels so good to be at the end of the road. Next week will start reading through the CPNE study guide. Anyone else going to this CPNE??

I spoke with Excelsior on Thursday. I was asking how FCCA/CPNE would work for me. I was told when I was done with LS3. They would then let me know I was eligible. She never said there would be a long wait with FCCA. I am so confused now.

I am not there yet anjule, but my understanding is there really isn't much of a wait for the FCCA. The wait that we are all worried about is when we finally get assigned our CPNE weekend (after finishing our nursing exams) it will be 3-5 months away. It sounds to me like FCCA is just a couple of week wait tops.

Congratulations!!!!! I did a workshop and the online documentation and careplanning session. They were pricey but I wanted to get it right the first time and I did !!!!!!

Believe me you will need those months to prepare. I've been preparing since Feburary and I'm taking my CPNE this month. It's alot of information to learn and pratice till you can do it in your sleep. Good Luck on your tests. :):nurse:

Good luck on your CPNE!!! :-)

I am hoping to do the same online workshop that I know you have been doing. Please let me know if doing it online helps with the CPNE prep! Does it go over everything the hands on one would, just on video? Thanks! :-)

I am doing Sheri's online workshop. The videos are great and you can watch them over and over for a month. It costs $147 per month and you can cancel whenever you want too. I only did it for a month. I think that was enough. The website is cpneworkshop.com.

Geez! I've had everything approved since April 1st and haven't heard a word.

Yup, give your adviser a call. 6 weeks seems like a long wait in comparison to how fast some have heard back.

They say SPAC is the longest wait time. Is there anyone else testing at SPAC that got a date sooner?

Any wait times known for each region? I heard the spac is 5-7 mos, mpac is 3-4 mos and npac was the quickest. Can anyone verify this??
