Okay...so I applied online for CPNE on Tuesday (4/26/11) evening...and all my documents were accepted on Wednesday...and Yesterday I received my CPNE date! I will be taking it on August 19-21 @ Albany Medical Center! Can't believe I found out so quickly! I am going to be going to Tina's Workshop in PA July 22-24. My FCCA will be arriving on May 17 and I have from the 18-27th to work on it! I can't believe I am at the point....it feels so good to be at the end of the road. Next week will start reading through the CPNE study guide. Anyone else going to this CPNE??

What ready date did you put on your application?
August 15
Thank you. And about how long did it take for them to update your status so you could pay for the FCCA and get it out to you. I am going to be eligible in a week but I am going away for orders on the 14th May and I want to have them send it but if I'm already gone I don't want to have to repay and what not. The school has been less than helpful.

Does that mean that if i apply for cpne in may that my cpne date would be around september??
What is a ready date?
I have ls3 and fcca left. I try not to look any further than what im working on for fear of getting lost, confused, or just plain stressed out!! Thats why i dont understand btw. Thanks.
Ms PC...it took a week for them to tell me I was eligible for both FCCA and CPNE....I called and registered for FCCA the end of last week and they told me the next testing window for FCCA...they have certain dates that you can take it every month.
dslpninla...it depends which location you what to go to....from what I have heard the sites in the NPAC you get a quicker test date. A ready date it the earliest that you want to take the CPNE. I took LS3 on April 13, then found out approximately a week later that I was officially eligible for FCCA and CPNE. I registered for the FCCA the end of last week, while compiling all of my documents for the CPNE so that I could apply this week for CPNE, which I did on Tuesday as I stated in my main post, and here I am now :-).
O.o thanks for the information about the way the FCCA is set-up. If I end up not having to do the orders then I will be fighting tooth and nail to get in the same FCCA group so I can knock this out.

I took and passed my CPNE at Alnany Medical Center, it was a nice site. The Ce and Ca were really fair. They want you to pass, Just know your stuff, one of the CA is an Excelsior graduate, she told me after I passed. Most of them are nursing instructors, they were looking very stern, but was so nice after giving you a congrats for passing. If you need any more info, pm me.

Congrats on your getting your dates! Also great info on wait times for CPNE in this thread. I am hoping to have my nursing exams done next month and then was so disappointed that I would not likely get dates for CPNE in the summer. I guess as long as I don't have to do the electronic version of FCCA I will be happy.
I hope I get AMC.
Erika you're information has been so helpful.
