Hello who is waiting for the CPNE? Do you have a date yet and when did you apply?
I am waiting for a date applied in January and would prefer Racine.:paw:
FINALLY GOT A DATE. LAST WEEKEND IN MAY!! WAS HOPING FOR SOMERTHING SOONER, BUT I WILL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET:yeah:. NOW ITS TIME TO GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. I'M STILL IN FOR A CANCELLATION DATE. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. ANY WORDS OF WISDOM- SEND THE MY WAY, I AM GRATEFULL FOR ANY ADVICE, ESPECIALLY REGARDING NERVE CONTROL.
GOOD LUCK!
Count me in!
My application was accepted 2/14, and I am waiting to test in Amirillo TX.
I orginally submitted my application 12/31 but got hung up on the MMR requirements, which I needed both MMRs, which delayed my acceptance date.
Per Excelsior my test day will not be until Aug. or Sept. So I am waiting for the exact date, which will give me plenty of time to study.

ok I am done with all my Nc exams, so what is going to be my next step?
Go to https://www.excelsior.edu/cpneapplication and click on the "required documentation" tab. That will show you all the stuff you need to gather/scan in while you're waiting for EC to update your student status/eval summary to reflect CPNE eligibility. Once EC has updated you, you can complete the application with the various documents you've gathered. :)
My CPNE application was accepted today, I guess I am now on the waiting list. Now the long wait begins. I am no where near ready for the exam, so I am not worried about the wait, for now.
I don't even know how to start studying for it. The study guide is 502 pages! How did you all do it? Did you print out all the pages?
I took mine to Staples and had it printed; they charged me a LOT of money, though -- like $63!! Shop around and get some price quotes. And if you have it printed double-sided, it's not so huge.
My advice -- just give it a read-through at first, then break it down by section. It's actually not that bad, and is full of good information. Also, be sure to keep visiting the EPN!! :)

Thanks to Siberianpooch and Traci!! Chamomile sounds like a good replacement since I am a coffee hound. Hey Lisa I say we all meet up in a central location, set a date to celebrate everything (b-days & completion of school) and enjoy a few cocktails!! Good luck to all, we will be there soon!
:typing:bugeyes: if I don't lose what little mind I have left.
