By now, every single solitary person on the face of the earth knows what is happening. Covid-19 is on the news hour after hour, day after day. We keep up with alerts constantly. We practice social-distancing. We work under adverse conditions, pleading and demanding adequate PPEs … and, we worry. One thing first and foremost on our minds is our family and friends. We strive to ensure that they are not infected. What about you as a Nurse? Other than the CDC recommendations, what additional precautions do you personally take to ensure your family members are safe?

My family is staying sheltered and following social distancing and masking. As the younger family reopens to school and work we will remain cautious until we can obtain a vaccine.
Well...Alaska community spread is escalating and schools are not open to in person classes in the interior. A significant percentage of people under 50 feel invincible and won't take any precautions so it will be an isolated Winter for us.

Oh yeah...the community spread is increased enough here in Trumplandia that the military bases have closed their gates to the community...no in and out from Wainwright or Eielson at this time. (Masks are mandatory on base, not in the community).

Belligerent ignorance is the hallmark of Trump's presidency. No wait...cruel disregard for others might be the hallmark.
