PLEASE give me a cooling vest, I burn up every night under all this garb.

Groovy, TMIML!
Belinda, my medical nurse wife, says she sweats like a stoker under the PPE and that is such a cool (no pun intended) idea!
However, the link isn't working.

It is very hot under all that PPE and staying in it for 8-12 hours working the Covid unit is just miserable.

We have cooling vests as an option for surgical staff who are scrubbed in. I can definitely see the benefit for those who spend hours in PPE. Me? I’d probably still be cold under all that gear.
Wow Rose it's amazing you guys have those, I really hope they become more readily available and used. Even without PPE I tend to burn up and I would be fine with sporting a cooling vest ?

It’s literally two pockets (front and back), Velcro straps, and 4 ice packs ?. Manufactured to standards of course, not kludged together by random staff members getting creative.

My husband works in a hot environment, and has used a cooling vest for several years. It is a vest with 11 pockets, 6 in front and 5 in back. Each pocket takes a small gel pack, I guess about 2" x 4", that we freeze overnight.
He does not use the 2 pockets over his nipples!
