RE: Registered Nurse position

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to state my interest in your Job advertisement for the position as an RN with the We care Health System. I believe I am a qualified, avid candidate for this position, considering my previous 3 year experience as an LPN and recent hands-on clinical experience as a newly Licensed RN. Throughout my extensive Nursing career, I have acquired an exceptional knowledge base and many vital skills that would pair excellently with your opening.

These well developed skills are as follows:

In-depth health assessment technique

Assigning appropriate nursing diagnosis's

Ability to implement proper nursing interventions & follow-up

Proficiency in educating patients & families using open ended communication and return demonstration

Aptitude for effectively participating with all members of the Health Care Team

Furthermore, acknowledging We care to be deemed as a teaching Hospital goes a long way when considering my education. Completing my clinical experience as an LPN and RN at We care North, We care Memorial & We care South gives me an edge regarding familiarity with equipment, software, and procedures. Additionally, We care has been ranked top hospital in South Florida by FindTheBest, I can conclude that your Hospital makes a great impact on all aspects of healthcare, down to all who come across this facility, such as employees, patients and students. I would find honor in becoming a part of this remarkable Health System.

My enclosed resume will provide you with supplementary information involving my nursing education, skills, and history. I honestly feel I can adequately fulfill this position and become a great asset to your company. I am quite excited to apply for this position and extremely grateful for this opportunity.

Sincerely,

Sashienne Rubio - R.N.

P.S. Thank you for taking the time to review my cover letter. I would be grateful for the opportunity to meet you, at the time of your convenience. Please feel free to contact me at (000) 000-0000, to arrange a meeting or an interview. I look forward in hearing from you and thanks again for your consideration.

Specializes in Leadership, Psych, HomeCare, Amb. Care.

Overall it's good, but a too long.

And watch the superlatives. Avid? Exceptional? Be prepared to justify those terms in an interview. Also, 3 years is not anywhere close to being an extensive nursing career.

Remember, you want to sell, not oversell yourself.

Ok thanks! Yea I guess it's not lol feels like forever to me..but I'm having an issue with shortening it. I made a few minor changes, but don't know what I should take out & btw it's a bit less than 1 page.
