Good day everyone:
Any thoughts on taking https://www.coursera.org/course/vitalsigns before starting clinicals in terms of getting a good start?
Thank you.

I never knew that this service existed and is free of charge! Amazing! Thanks for the info. In terms of a head start, I am sure any additional learning will be beneficial.

Wow - that course looks great. I think it would be very beneficial for you.
I have taken several Coursera courses & they were all very well done. I'm glad to see that they are expanding their health care catalog.

This looks like a great way to prepare for A&P! :)
I'm glad to read that it looks like a good (free) course to take prior to clinicals. I'm also looking at taking https://www.coursera.org/course/clinicalpsych later in the summer in case it might help with pediatrics. While I've not used the apps yet, Coursera has an ipad/iphone app called "CoursePad" and a Google App (whose name I don't have handy).

You always have the best resources pmabraham!! This looks like an awesome course! I start nursing school in the Fall and I'm sure this will be of great help!
Congratulations 16mm on starting nursing school this fall; that's when I officially start as well. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.
Good day:
BTW, https://www.coursera.org/course/healthcaresafety starts on June 2nd. It appears to be another interesting class to get ready for clinicals. For those already a nurse, there's a CE option.

Thanks for posting this. I signed up for the vital signs one and for a neurobiology class. Physiology fascinates me and I am excited to do it. Plus I am only taking one class this summer (my final prereq) and then am hopefully starting in the fall. I have to wait another month for my acceptance letter.
