As of today I have 99 days of this hell left!

I’ve got nothing to be sentimental about with this hell. I don’t want any reminders of any of it, bad or indifferent (can’t fathom anything good about it, other than the amusement I got out of calling them out on their disembling BS)
I’ve been asked ‘what are you doing to celebrate?’ I’ve joked that I’m going to have a big bonfire and burn all the records and garbage, but truthfully I don’t even want to give this horror show the satisfaction of creating a memory of some kind of party. I don’t want to remember how it ended, just that it did and my life is my own, again.
I agree Cats!!!
Nothing good to remember here. Nothing learned. Nothing gained. When the Soviet’s marched the Nazi prisoners through Moscow they had street cleaners follow them to remove all traces of their disgusting presence. I wish I could clean my mind of this nonsense but I don’t think I ever will. This was something to be survived not reminisced about

Formerly Kel65 here. 9 days left. I'm so silly I'm taking a screenshot every morning in hope,I'll get a message that okay you're done and that will be the last one. Not one damn day early I guess.
Formerly kel65 here. SIX DAYS LEFT OF TPAPN. I can't believe it. Since counting down from 10 I have been a kid waiting for Christmas morning with wishlists going through my head. Soy sauce, insect repellent, just living live without a care of incidental exposure. I may bathe in hand sanitizer.
My job position is hard to fill, especially with my skill at it, so finally it's not, "my God I have to keep this job," but treat me right because I have other offers.
I seriously dread checking in Monday through my last day Friday. I don't know if my brain won't explode if I get picked to test and have to wait the damn 5, 6, 7 days for results thereby delaying my exit.
Oh well!! I'll see you all on the other side of monitoring.

Oh man, I would lose my ***t if that happened. Although, I can see where they may want to, to make sure you didn't "celebrate" too early. Mind games, my friend!
Good luck and let's hear your cheering all through the state once you reach that end date!

Hey!! Dagobah, Isn't this near your last day? I've got two days left at midnight!! This count down week has been fun, except I'm still afraid they're going to pull a last-minute drug test.

Omg! Too funny! I had to look back what I wrote. The OP had 99 days, and I replied the next day meaning that CatsMeow72 now has 98 days. I got out Nov 2012. Thank you though! : )
Congrats to you in a couple of days!!!! Sweet!!!!

Wish I'd have done that. Thinking back, I was probably so glad to finally be finished that I wanted to get the heck out of dodge before they changed their minds ? When I finished, there were "glitches" involving a case worker that either lied or didn't know how to read "Negative ETG" on a test and was purposefully delaying my finish. I had to appeal to the program director, who told me the ETG was negative and I would be promptly discharged within the hour, successfully. I need no reminders of that hell. LOL.
As a cautionary tale, my story is a good reminder to stick to your guns if something in a test comes up in a way that you know isn't the truth. They will try and hang you. Admit to nothing. Another good thought is to hold off eating whatever you want until you actually have the papers or the electronic record in hand stating that you have successfully completed the monitoring. Do not celebrate prematurely.
