Could Obamacare cause a shortage in nursing again

I would really like to know how you believe Obama care will affect the medical field and be honest. I would expect that it would create more jobs but the work would be very tiring. There would be no 3/12 but 4/12 or 3/15 with rooming/bedding at hospital.

Obamacare can cause crash of all healthcare system. Healthcare was going to that direction before Obamacare. Obamacare was supposed to delay it but most likely the result will be opposit

I can say with the company I work for it has already happened. RNs have gotten a 5.00 an hour pay decrease, LPNs and CNAs 3 dollar an hour decrease. Not to mention: dietary, maintenance, social workers, ect. all lost hourly wages. This, the company says, is due to the fact they are now offering employees who are over 30 hours insurance as well as benefits. The kicker is a lot of us aren't 30 hours a week :(

There is about 2500 employees. Rather or not it is due to the ACA, I think companies are using the ACA as an excuse to cut jobs as well as pay. It's too bad.

The issue is some governors are not taking the initiative to have the exchanges ready...at least in my state, the governor is SLOW to accepting the money and is not producing the rates for the exchange...almost like prevent people access I healthcare. Just signed a petition urging him to do so.

If push comes to shove I hope legal action is coming so people can sign up!
