COT/Stationing Assignments from November Boards!!!!

Published

Hey everyone! When you find out when you're going to COT and where you get stationed, let everyone know!

I just found out today! I'm going to COT in January, and got stationed at Travis, which was my second choice! I'll also be doing NTP in Scottsdale, AZ, only 2 hours away from where I live - which is really really convenient!

Good luck to everyone! If you haven't heard today, I'm guessing you'll hear by Monday or Tuesday... if you're an NTP candidate, at least. I think maybe people with experience are going to hear later than us, according to some other posts I've read?

Sounds like a plan!! :)

This sounds great :)

I got Travis for NTP and my first assignment, but I am going to the March 9 COT. :)

I got Travis for NTP and first duty station. March 9 COT. My wife is happy that it was not Elmendorf. It is actually warmer in AK than CO right now.

My husband and I really wanted Elmendorf, we were stationed in Fairbanks before. We are happy with Travis though. Glad to know someone who will be doing this journey right next to me.

i haven't heard from my recruiter yet about my COT and assignment date. i called her today and left her a message. but i'm hoping for january COT and Travis for NTP and active duty station. i hope she calls me tomorrow.

i'm hoping for a call tomorrow too! it's getting so late for finding out though, i get the feeling i'll be going in march. still hoping for january, so we'll see!

Can anyone possible give me a list of good locations in the army nursing corps for a new grad were I could get good med/surg experience and support. There are so many places to go I'm not sure what would be a good option. Also, is it a good option to live on base so that I will be close to the hospital. My recruit has mentioned the hospitals in Tacoma, WA a lot. Any thoughts would be appreciated .

Kristina, you should start another thread to get answers to your question, especially because this particular thread is very specifically Air-Force oriented... none of us are going to know about anything Army related. Good Luck!

still no word from my recruiter... sigh... AFPC is lagging! i guess it'll be March COT for me.

Congrats to NurseJess!!! I heard from our shared recruiter that NursJess is getting her commission tomorrow!!! How exciting!!!

My recruiter says none of his qualified RN's who were in the November board have heard anything. So maybe we will get cycled around in March? lol. I would like to point out that most of us are sure we will get in, but just don't know when. I'm settled myself with the wait, just so I do get in! lol. So jealous and happy for those of you leaving in January! Keep us posted.
